The house boasts a sun splashed patio with sparkling plunge pool, leading out on to a tree shaded lawn. Enjoy sundowners on the patio overlooking the river or simply soak up the serenity of the lazy river, relaxing in hammocks and listening to the birds.
The Breede River is also most suitable for canoeing and fishing, and two canoes are available. The house is perfectly located for excursions to wine farms, game farms or golf courses of the beautiful Breede River Valley. Picturesque Kwaggaskloof Dam for water skiing enthusiasts within 5 kms.
The house and garden are kept in pristine condition under the watchful eye of Witness, our grounds keeper. He will welcome you at your arrival to answer any queries you may have.
The river house can accommodate 9 people in 3 en-suite bedrooms.
Room 1 (sleeps 2) – Queen size bed
Room 2 (sleeps up to 4) – Queen and 2 single beds
Room 3 (sleeps up to 3) – Queen, 1 single bed

The open plan kitchen, dining area and TV lounge have all modern amenities including DSTV connectivity (Simply bring your decoder and card and you can instantly connect), music system, oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.
Most evenings are pleasant and a boma fire provides an unforgettable experience, while gazing at the clear night skies. There is an outdoor braai, and in winter, a large indoor fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere inside the house

Price per night for the entire property :
Summer Rates (Jan-April & Sept-Nov): R3100 per night
Winter Rates (May – August): R2400 per night
Peak Rates (Dec and Easter Weekend): R3600 per night
During peak periods, the house must be rented for a minimum of 3 nights.
Use of canoes included in daily price.
