Rivierplaas

Visit Rivierplaas for a peaceful weekend away with family and friends. We are only an hour and a
half’s drive from Cape Town, on the banks of the beautiful Breede River.
We welcome any kind of tent, bush-trailer, motor-home or caravan. No regrets, no electricity. For
your convenience, we stock some basic camping necessities, like ice, wood, Blitz, Tabard, Coke and
bottled water, as well as local good quality olive oil and Rivierplaas’ very own raw honey.

ACTIVITIES:
The campsite offer ample swimming, fishing and play areas, as well as a foefie slide (flying fox) into
the river. There are plenty canoes and floating devices for everyone to use, at no extra cost.
Rivierplaas is a popular destination amongst bird watchers, with around 200 different bird species
commonly spotted on and around the farm.
Our circular hiking trial of 2,5km will take you on a scenic outing, and can be enjoyed by the whole
family.

PET POLICY:
Only friendly pets, that get on well with other animals and people, especially children, are allowed.
Loud and annoying pets will not be tolerated. Please clean up after your own pet. Easy access to
walks. Please consider fellow campers and their pets, and always keep in mind that Rivierplaas is a
working farm with farm animals and dogs roaming. Consideration must also be given to resident
dogs, farm animals and wildlife.
Pets welcome at R150 per pet per booking.
